I'm pleased to announce a new membership level that recognizes individuals who:
  • Write and maintain informative FAQ's and/or tutorials.
  • Have a frequent presence in the forums.
  • Are well respected by their peers for their ability & willingness to share knowledge, answer questions, and help solve technical issues.
  • Provide thoughtful and constructive advice and commentary.
Benefits:

Designated members are provided access to a private forum, are given an AC Adviser title, and a profile badge.

What Advisers are not:

Members who provide personal assistance and/or tech support via private, instant, or email based messaging. Regular members are strongly encouraged to post all technical questions in the forums, in order to benefit the community as a whole.

How Advisers are selected:

Forum Moderators and/or Admins will identify and recommend members who fit Adviser criteria. The second post in this thread will be updated as new Advisers are added.

Examples of how you can qualify as an Adviser:
Advisers are held in the highest regard and are well respected for their contributions to the community.

We look forward to and welcome new participants!

Cory

zero (tyler) was born and raised on Long Island, New York. He attended art school in Westchester, New York, where he studied painting and drawing. You can see some of his drawings [Only registered users can view links. ] and photoshop collages [Only registered users can view links. ]. Since graduating with a BFA, Tyler moved to Brooklyn, New York for about five years before selling out, annihilating the lsat, and beginning law school on Long Island, where he currently resides.

His journey to the depths of the github and the battle against sentient rombots began with a gently used Droid Incredible - rooted and rom'ed since day one - followed by the launch day upgrade to the Thunderbolt (used defensively to bludgeon attackers and break car windows). This was followed up with the launch day get of the Galaxy Nexus: his F22 Raptor running AOKP and beyond into whatever the next generation of android offerings deliver unto him.

Casually, you can find Tyler bumping rap in his beat up vw, obsessing over the NY Mets aka tha Amazins, and generally just kickin it old school with his beautiful, Ukrainian sleeper-cell girlfriend.

Hi - I'm PvilleComp (Mike) aka The Stig. I live in Northern Virginia with my wife and son. During the day I work on business and residential IT issues and at night I do this!

I started in the Wireless industry in 2000 working for a company specializing in wireless data applications. Over my career I've worked with and consulted for just about every major wireless and wire-line telecommunications provider in North America and Europe.

The DInc was my first Android phone after a brief stint in the WinMo world and I'm not looking back.

On the weekend (In between posts on AC ) you can find me either cooking in the kitchen or smoking meat on the deck. A perfect weekend involves two days of cooking and a really good Sunday meal. There may or may not be a few adult beverages involved during the cooking, but I will neither confirm or deny and such rumor.
Paul627g and zero neck like this.
