Hello everyone!

I've owned my new phone for one day, less than 24 hours. I was a former Crackberry addict, but I saw that Android could do so much more. So here I am, looking up all the cool stuff that can be done with my phone (I got a Samsung Captivate).

O.O....

There's so much stuff to get used to, the biggest deal being the keyboard. I'm so used to the old BB shortcuts and whatnot. I'm sure there's something here that I can find to make the transition a little easier, because I hope to use this phone LOADS. Any ideas where I can start in this department?

Thanks!

Welcome to A/C.

Android does not have the keyboard shortcut. Well at least not on the DroidX. That is one thing about BB that people miss but once you get used to the Android OS, you will forget about the keyboard shortcuts.

Take some time to tweak and configure your Captivate. Try some of the different keyboards. They won't make up for shortcuts, but Android is so flexible, you can configure it to make it just the way you want it!

Welcome!
