I started using "smartphones" back in 2000. For the past decade I've strictly (mostly due to limited competition until a few years ago) used Windows Mobile devices; and we all know how that turned out.
During that time I began learning a lil' bit about developing in .NET and C# for the WM platform. I also dabble in graphics and illustrations; by day I'm a freelance web developer.
So here I am, re-assessing my options, and getting extremely frustrated with my 2 year-old freezing, sluggish, Rhodium. While I could keep on going with WP7 and metro UI, I'm actually looking forward to getting to know "Lloyd" and "Andy", and furthering my open source development knowledge with AOSP.
I'm currently holding out for a Verizon Nexus (dev phone); although the Droid Bionic(Q2) and Droid 3(Q4?) look mighty tempting.
I also look forward to exchanging ideas with the Android Central community!
