After using it, the practical additions are pretty slim.

I will note that usually I see heavily decreased battery life on Android Phones after a major OS update. Today I'm experiencing CRAZY great battery life. I'll keep you posted, but if it keeps up, they did something special to make this happen, and I like it.

I don't know if it's actually lasting longer, but my phone was off the charger at 6:30 this morning, did the update, and has run all day. I've played YouTube, made phone calls, played Pokemon Go, etc, and I'm still up at a third of my battery! Screen on time is at 2.5 hours.

Came back to report that I had a weird battery issue this morning where it was discharging super fast. A reboot stopped it. I installed the game that I think was the culprit. I'll keep you updated. It seems like the battery should again last a whole day and then some!

Also, I just noticed that the screen is not an issue for me anymore. It's still not as bright as some of the phones I've used recently, but it seems to be much brighter at the top end.
