I would love to see this tablet get Jelly Bean. ICS is nice an all, but I do see slight lag in the home screen..

I really hope Lenovo doesn't abandon this tablet, as it's still a decent tablet with good specs.

We have two things going for us:

1) Lenovo has been already working on ICS for this tablet, which I've flashed to my son's tablet. Easiest non-ota flash I've ever done, Lenovo has this tablet wide open.
2) There is good developer activity on this tablet because it's so open and easy to work with. Since the tablet has a pre-release version of ICS, it should be relatively simple to make a JB rom from this.

Honestly I don't think Lenovo will release an official JB update. Lenovo pushed out a manual update for the K1 and from what I've read on the forums on Lenovo's site ICS will be it since its been discontinued. The new Ideapad (S2) will probably get it since it has ICS already on it.

The Thinkpad tabIet I have already has ICS on it (I got a replacement unit last week). So it possibly may get it since it's their flagship tablet. Lenovo announced that the new TPT will be running Windows 8, so I just don't know.
