Lenovo Android tablet, why can't I log in to Facebook?

My android Lenovo was working with the facebook app which I downloaded from google play store. It has been working fine, but today when I try to log on to facebook all I get is a blue screen with the facebook logo in the centre. I have deleted and reloaded the app four times plus deleted the cache.

Welcome to Android Central! Any recent updates to the app? Does it persist after rebooting the tablet?

Try also going to Settings>Apps, select Facebook, and Clear Data along with Clear Cache, then Force Stop. Now open it again and log back in. Still not working?

Hi B.DIDDY,
I carried out your instructions to the letter but still no good. When I try to log on to facebook on my Lenovo A10-70 I still get a blue screen with the Facebook logo in the center.

Do you have Facebook Messenger installed? Try uninstalling that temporarily.
