Why does my phone go blank while call in progress?

I have lenovo A850. From last few days I am having problem of screen goes blank while receiving call or dialing a call. I am not able to end the call or view the screen. To end the call I have to remove the battery and then restart. Few day back I had formatted my phone. After that, problem resolved for almost 15 days. I have also installed certain apps. Now again the same problem started. I am fed up. Everytime I have to remove the battery to restart the phone.

Please guide me urgently.

Have you tried pressing the power button to restart the phone?

You could also use the recent apps function task manager to remove it from running.
