    Default How Much Memory?

I'm fairly new to my LG Ally. I know it doesn't have as much app memory as some of the other phones, and I'm wondering if there is a general rule of thumb as to how much available memory there should be on the phone in order for it to run smoothly/quickly. I want to make sure I don't download too many apps.

    Thanks!

No specific rule of thumb no. Every phone is different. The Ally isn't my only Android phone so I can do this but my rule of thumb is that I only install apps that are absolutely necessary for whatever I want to do with the phone and install othre apps on other phones. I've got about 30 apps and widgets installed now.
Android is all about Personal Choice: Droid RAZR HD, Droid DNA, SGSIII, SG Note 2, HTC One X+, Galaxy Nexus, Nexus4... Hating is so Apple... we're better than that!
