Anyone else get a OTA update last night/this morning?

I woke up this morning to my phone telling me a system update is available. I am currently on 2.1 update 1. When I went to install it, the installation failed, I'm guessing because my phone is rooted? But when I go to check for updates to attempt to reinstall it again, it says my system is up to date. Not sure what's going on there since the install failed.
Anyone else get an OTA update?

Yup saw it to! I'm running velocity 3.0 so didn't update (which I found odd that I got the update n the first place)anyways if anyone else updates let us know what update it is I'd love to see 2.2 show up for this device! !!!!!

yea my dads Ally got an update this morning. i think it was a maintenance update for corporate calender and email clients, cuz it used to freak out on him before, but now it works ok.

My wife saw an update last week for her phone.

Yeah unfortunately I installed it and now I have lost root!
I can't re-root with universal androot or Z4root.
Need help if anyone knows how to get around this.

Weird! I used Z4root, and the install failed and now it won't show up when I check for updates.
Interesting that it installed for you and it didn't for me.

NM previous post I got z4root 1.3 to work an barnacle is cooking again.
thanks to all who contribute to this forum anyways, I've learned alot here.
