so right now i have a blackberry bold 9650 with blackberry 6 and i love android the only reason i have this phone is because i had a droid incredible and it got messed up and my friend gave me this phone for free so i put it on craigslist to trade for a android phone and the only response i got was someone asking to trade it for there lg ally. is this a good phone? is it better than my blackberry bold?

The ally is okay, It has a physical keyboard and just updated to Froyo, but only a 600 MHz Processor and 512MB internal memory. It is a good entry level Android phone but don't expect to run the latest games very well if at all.

I would have to say after 9 months of my wife and daughter having one, I'd pick something newer and stronger. They really are underpowered, and it takes a while to notice...but you will.

true 512 MB but it does have sdcard up to 16GB slot and apps2sd now - my sis went from blackberry curve to an android and loves it to death

if you are not sure, play with an Ally in a verizon store for a bit
