Phone is LG G Flex running the latest update available from T-Mobile.
Whenever I use any app that uses the camera or LED flash, App Ops shows the camera as running in every app that has access to the camera permission.
Force stopping these apps does not work.
Disallowing the camera permission in every app that requires it (using App Ops) does not work.
Using an app to disable the camera does not work.
The only way to stop the camera from constantly running and draining my battery is to reboot my phone after every time it's used. This is *very* annoying; there's gotta be a better workaround.
I'm hoping someone can help me since I doubt Lollipop is coming to this phone anytime soon, if ever. I do not wish to downgrade to Jellybean, nor root. A custom ROM isn't an option either because I don't want to lose the ability to use my phone's infrared blaster.
