LG Gpad 7.0 LTE/v410 not updating to lollipop any solution?

My gpad came up with kitkat when unboxed it but after a while i searched the web and found out that there was a lollipop update for my device so i rushed into settings and quickly tapped on check for updates but it said that there are no available software updates for my device mt device was rooted but then i unrooted it hoping that it would solve my problem but nothing happened.. I wanted to flash roms but that was too "Risky" for me and i was afraid that what if i accidentally brick my tablet D: .Sorry if i don't know about android that much..I think its because of At&t version idk why lol but any solutions?

Once there are certain signs that the phone has been rooted, it won't update (because it is risky to update a phone that's been rooted, You'll have to replace the ROM (which will lose all your apps and data) to update it it to lollypop,
