G watch R pics with metal band

I picked up my LG G Watch R last Friday morning at a local AT&T retailer just as expected. I absolutely love the look of the watch and the updated features. (coming from the original Samsung Gear) I did, however, absolutely hate the "leather" band. So after some quick searching I found this band at the strapped for time website.

Didn't see any 22mm bands on Amazon that were worth purchasing. Bad reviews, cheap, etc...

Well this band arrived yesterday and went on the watch without a hitch. I am now even happier with the G Watch R and feel it is by far the best looking smart watch on the market today!

Does that band come with extra links? I can't wear a watch with a leather band and I have large wrists. I'm looking forward to getting one of these watches.

This photo is after I removed two links and adjusted the clasp all the way in. The website lists the band as 7 1/4". pretty standard size for a metal band I believe.

Just got mine yesterday, how easy/hard was the process of switching the band?

Not difficult at all, its just the normal spring pins that hold the band on. Pull the leather band to one side and use a flat blade to compress the spring and remove the pin. I used a staple remover since i was at work and it was all I had lol

I love the leather band that comes with this. Thick, high quality and very comfortable. Have no idea why some people hate it so. Awesome band.

Thanks for posting the link to the strap. I suppose any one would work as long as it is 22mm with straight ends. The one I got is a little pricey but I feel it was worth the money to me. You guys decide what you think looks best, as least you can see what the metal band looks like before deciding.

Good quality for the price. Fairly lightweight. The color is not truly black but matches the watch well. I have large wrists and I had to struggle to get the leather strap on to just the first hole. I didn't take any links out of this band but it looks like you can take out at least four of them plus a small adjustment at the clasp.

I bought mine at an AT&T store on release day and I'm a Sprint customer. No questions asked. Its an accessory so no need to add a line. No different than buying a case or headset.
