Best ROM I've used so far. Amazing battery life, enhanced audio and video quality, and improved multitasking. Great work done by Sonic-Developers.

Interesting, I've been thinking of flashing a ROM onto my G2 and I've been looking around for which one I should try to flash (it'd be my first flash so I'd be able to screw it up with extreme ease ) is it like cyanogenmod? (stock android with add-ons) or like a custom "what the **** is that phone running!?" ROM?

And also can it be done without a PC? (some one in my family decided since the virus software was out dated that they should install some random free virus protection... So now I'm not connecting my phone to it in fear it'll copy a virus and transfer it to my phone)

SOKP is better than Cyanogenmod if you want a ton of features and customization options. It's based on a bunch of different ROMs. Looks like stock Android if you added a bunch of mods and customization options.

You might prefer Cyanogenmod if you want something simple and can't flash from computer. ROM toolbox has a ROM installer where you can download and install ROMs without a computer. Last time I checked CM, Carbon, Pac-Man, Vanir and AOKP were available.

I suggest making a full nandroid backup in custom recovery just in case something goes wrong.

Sounds nice I'd probably prefer AOKP then I've already got a ton of modules running so I'd probably be a bit bored with cyanogenmod. I've already got a back up in twrp and all my important stuff like pictures and apps backed up with titanium back up so that's all taken care of.

Is it possible to download the ROM off the Internet in zip form and flashing it through flashify?

Or would the classic way be the better way (ROM manager, factory resisting, clearing the caches [all of them or only a select few?] and then flashing ROM?
