Love seeing all these screen shots. Just wondering, it appears that most of you are using still wallpapers for your screens, how come there are not many live wallpapers in this thread? Am I missing something? One of the reasons I love my android is because I can run them. Why are so few talked about here? Thanks

Live wallpapers consume a lot of battery so I prefer not to use them. I do use a wallpaper changer that automatically changes the wallpaper every two hours.

Just use any desktop wallpaper that you like, g2 resolution is high, LG can handle.

You can check places like devianart and interfacelift.

I use wallpaper sizes that are either 2160 X 1920 or 1440 X 1280, which is great for scrolling wallpaper.
Also, most posters in this thread will post their wallpaper if you request it.

It just depends on how the live wallpaper is "coded" by the developer. The better ones use battery only when the screen is on. Many times you will read negative reviews if the wallpaper runs all the time. I have found that many of the "free" live wallpaper are the ones that consume more battery, but that's just a generalization on my part.

I usually install the ones by DualBoot Games and Kittehface Software. And I always get the paid versions. I think they have the best ones. I hope they do not run while sleeping. Is there anyway to tell if this is happening? Thanks

You'll certainly know by the battery consumption after installing the new live wp.

Probably due to custom grid. Just edit it and move it to the left or reduce font size.

I am looking for some cool pattern wallpapers.
Also, does anyone know if there is anyway to change the app drawer wallpaper on stock launcher?

Questions:
Is there anyway to make the notification/status bar transparent on stock launcher without having to root?
How do you add 5 day forecast to Zooper?
Do you guys have some cool wallpapers that have some slight patterns towards the bottom but solid towards the top? This way I can just use the stock notification bar but it won't be too noticable since it is similar color as wallpaper?

And as far as I know there is no way to make the notification bar transparent on a third party launcher. For some reason LG doesn't allow it.
