These shots are all through glass, I did not modify anything except resize them on my PC, these are as they came out of the LG straight off.
They could have been a lot better if I was actually outside but it's no fun to be out at 34 degrees to just take some sample shots.

The problem is when focusing on something in the forefront. It's still blown out of proportion and that's coming from a person who hates the camera, me.

I think you are referring to over exposure? Look at my last picture, you cans till see the detail on that building.
Today it's foggy out will run more shots and keep this up to date.

HDR mode helps keep the sky from being blown out when focusing/exposing on the foreground.
