Default KitKat: Did the LG G2 fonts change?

Currently a N5 owner considering making the switch to G2.

KitKat on the N5 has a thin, narrow font.
G2 fonts at launch were thicker and wider. Anyone that has seen the before and after of the G2 KitKat update, I am hoping you can describe whether the fonts have changed to this KitKat style or if the LG skin kept the fonts the same.

    Thanks in advance.

I think the default font was SmartGothic before, and Roboto after; where Roboto is thinner. However, you can switch the font back.

One can barely notice the difference between the two on the homescreens but it's more apparent on menus and app/settings screens. Where the difference "jumped out" at me was in the Play Store after pressing the menu bar with the three lines.
