How to test the TOP microphone?

Hi guys Ive just pushed in the G pin through the top microphone hole thinking it was to remove the back

Is there a danger it broke? How can I test it to make SURE its working properly?


I didnt apply too much of a push in it, but still I felt like I broke something as it moved down a little further than initially.. ((


This top hole is a god dam trap...
