LG G2, every time my screen shuts off, it immediately turns back on

When it turns back on, it shows the headphone jack has been toggled for a second even though there are no headphones in place.Tried cleaning headphone port and did a factory reset with no luck. I also Have the issue where headphones lose connection easily from small aggitation as well (seems common from other threads) but this new issue makes the phone always on and drains battery quickly, Any ideas?????

Welcome to Android Central! It sure sounds like the jack has become faulty. It probably keeps registering a false signal when the screen shuts off, making the phone think that you're plugging headphones in, which is thus triggering the screen to turn on again. You may have to look into replacing the jack.
