Video quality after saving

When filming, my screen quality is great. The video is bright and clear. When i want to select a video from gallery, the pictures of the video are bright. Once I play the video, it is dark and hard to make out. Most of my videos are in normal light conditions or outside during the day. Any ideas??

Is your brightness setting set to Auto? Try disabling that, do they still look 'dark'? If you send the video file to a computer, how does it look there?

I tried auto, light on, light off. Still dark when replaying. Not sure about the computer part of it.

Just tried playing old videos that i seen were good. They are even dark. As soon as i press play, the screen darkens. Should i just jump on the lollipop haters bandwagon?

Don't have an LG G2 to test, but are there any display controls native to the video playing app? Or maybe try a 3rd party app like VLC...

There was a setting while playing video. Guess i overlooked it. Brightness was at 4%. Prob my son turned it down hitting buttons. Thanks all!
