LG G2 D802 - Help I'm lost

Hi.
My LG G2 (D802) decided to go for a swim. A friend of my sister in law who repairs cell phones replaced my LCD and Flexi for me and my phone seemed to work fine. When I inserted my sim card it did not recognize it. I noticed then that my Imei and SV is unknown. I fiddled with it by following a few forums and installed the stock version. My Windows 7 pc can see the phone's drive when I connect it but the LG support tool cannot. I installed and reinstalled drivers, but to no avail. I'm trying to retrieve my imei so i can use the phone again. Any suggestions how to do it?

Welcome to Android Central! The box that the phone came in should have a sticker that has the IMEI/ESN, serial number, and other important information. Do you still have it? It's a good idea to save the boxes of your devices for this reason.
