Android Stock Email Error : "[attachment name]" did not download
Please can anyone help because I can't find the answer anywhere!
I have an LG G2, version 4.4.2 using the stock email app to access emails sent to my hotmail email address. Everything on my phone is up to date.
However if I try to download an attachment (.pdf or .img - happens with all types of attachments) the error "[attachment name] did not download".
I have plenty of available space and if I forward emails to my gmail account I can open the attachments. However this is inconvenient and as I use my hotmail account for everything I want it to work on the stock app. It has worked for the past 1 and half years and suddenly stopped working a couple of days ago. I have not installed anything or made any changes that could have affected it. There are also no options on the stock email app settings that assist regarding attachments. I have no limit as to the size I can download and they don't download via wifi or using data.
Anyone have any ideas at all?
