My LG G2 Mini's screen keeps freezing. What can I do to fix it?

Yesterday my phone's screen started freezing. Nothing will respond and even the clock won't change. But when I hold the power button, the power menu will come up and respond. I'll restart the phone from there, and it'll work perfectly fine for a few minutes, but then it'll freeze up again and I'll have to do the same thing over again. Before I even went to bed last night, I had to restart my phone at least 2-3 dozen times after it started giving me problems at around 4 yesterday afternoon. I shut it off for the night hoping that that would do something, but it didn't. I'm still having the same problems with it today and had to restart it about a dozen times so far today (it's noon and I started trying to use it at around ten). I just got this phone in June and I can't really afford to go spend another $200+ on a phone right now. What can I do to take care of these problems?
