The weakest thing I noticed throughout this entire thread is no backlight compensation, for the most part. Otherwise, when people put some thought into the shot, they came out brilliant. I'm sure I will be very happy with the camera, but I am concerned that there is no white balance, because I mostly take pix of my aquariums, and the led lights tend to show blue through the camera lens, even when they're not. I will have to wait and see. If they do, I will just use the ipad for that.

Lynne22, you can install another camera app from the playstore or there was an app that is not on the playstore, lgxcam i think it was called, just google it and you will find it. There are number of quality apps in the playstore that allow you to tweak all the parameters of the camera to your heart's desire cheers.

Does anybody have any indoor action shots? Both my sons play hockey, and we don't grab "the big camera" every time we go to a game. When I get a new phone, I'd like one that could take good pictures of them out on the ice during the game.

Not exactly hockey and pretty high up, but I thought this phone did a good job taking this shot.

Almost pitch-black room. I was surprised how well it came out (first time really trying a dark shot). It's not a great photo but I think it shows what the camera and flash are capable of

Zero degrees on Narragansett Bay yesterday

This by no means a great photo, but it's a good example of the colors you see at sunset at more northern latitudes. This is facing almost directly away from the sunset. The colors are just due to ice crystals from rather cold temps and low angle sun. No edits, just a quick snap to grab the colors. HDR set to auto, but that's it

Might be too late but here are a couple indoor sports pics. Most of the action isn't moving too fast but what did impress me was the shutter speed.
