Google Now seems to be baked into most Android versions. The OK Google should work as long as they have that widget updated.

Okay Google works as long as you are on a screen with the Google search bar widget. Had to be Ruhr white one. It works great I keep it on my home screen. And shortcut to voice on my lock screen as well. Google now is great.

Google now launcher now shows compatible with G3 on Google Play site.

Does the knock knock work on the Google Launcher home screen or kills it like on Nova Launcher. I'm just hoping the Google Launcher is just a extra screen to the left accessible by swiping but the remaining screens you can knock knock to sleep. I'd hate to have to always use the status bar on top.

Since my Nexus 4 I have missed a simpler UI but I have been ok with this new UI... but I bet that the phone would run even smoother with the Nova?

Damn bro, I could kids you right now (no gay)! I had downloaded an on/off app but was having trouble getting it set up so I was just using the ago button and having to tap the icon. After reading your post my dumb *** figured out the problem. Sometimes the small victories in life are the best. Lol
