I'm stumped and can't find it, if it's there at all.

Where in the settings can I turn OFF the Knock On feature to wake the screen? I don't really want to use that. I prefer to just use the power button the old fashion way.

Thanks.

Just use the back buttons knock on doesn't interfere

Thanks for the reply.

I think maybe I didn't fully explain. Sorry.

I want to turn OFF the Knock On feature because I don't want to accidentally unlock the phone if it's in my pocket. I prefer to just use the power button and just swipe across the screen to unlock it like other phones.

I would think that the knock on feature is kernel related. Changing your kernel might be the only option. I don't know of any custom kernels so this isn't great help, but it's all i got.

Go to the Dialer (Phone) app. Type in 3845#*850# (AT&T version)
This will take you to the "Hidden Menu" Scroll all the way to the bottom. There is an option to turn Knock On/Off, off, there.

Do you know what to dial to access the menu on the verizon version?

I like playing with it myself, but in this day and age you should have the option to turn things off if you wish. This isn't an Apple product! :p

3845#*985# I believe this is right. Can't test, I have an AT&T version.

put 850 in for the 985 for a att model and it will work. These numbers are the model number. Yes you can disable knock code there. It is the last item as you scroll down.
