I got my battery tuned in from using about 60% down to 42%. But now it says Android OS is using 42% also But up from about around 20%. What would cause that? Is it normal?

There's been a crop of problems recently with Android System and Android OS causing excessive battery drain, especially over in Ask A Question. I take it you've tried the simplest thing, a soft reset? Has worked for me on two occasions in the past.

How do you do a soft reset on the G3?

I'll just mention that my problems above were not on my G3.
G3 soft reset is done by long-pressing power button and powering off....then restarting after a few seconds. Or you can remove/replace battery, which has the same effect.
