Hey G3 owners,

Can anyone here speculate as to whether or not the aggressive noise cancellation present in video/audio recording is something that could potentially be fixed?

I've scoured a lot of forum discussions, and found that G2 users managed to create a fix for the problem in rooted G2s, so a solution for the G3 might eventually come to fruition. Even just disabling the secondary noise cancelling microphone, or recording exclusively through it might be enough to solve the problem. What do you think?

Here are a couple of examples so you know what I'm talking about:
  • EDIT: Not allowed to post links yet. Just google videos for LG sound recording issues. It sounds about the same on the G3 as it did on the G2.

Right now it's the closest problem to a deal breaker I've encountered. I have until next Wednesday to return the phone, and if this is always going to be a problem, I might have to switch for a Galaxy S5.

Thanks, all.
