I love this feature but who here after using it started doing it to all your other devices. Every time I pick up my Nexus 5 or 7 I catch myself double tapping the screen.

My Nexus 5 has had to put up with this for a long time.
It's not just the knocking...I sometimes find myself considering for a brief mad moment performing a cache clear or a soft reset on all sorts of non-phone things that may be giving trouble. The TV. Cars. My cat.

I don't use knock off as often, but just in the 4 days I've been using this phone and knock on, my Nexus 7 and my wife's S5 Active have been knocked repeatedly to no avail.

Knock on and off is probably my favorite feature of the g3, I very seldom use the power button.

I also have the same issue of trying to use it on other devices, that's the only annoying part about it.

It took me a month to get used to not doing it on my s5. Then it took me a couple days to stop pressing the non-existent home button to turn the screen on my g3.

That must have baffled customers who saw you do it. Possibly the less tech-savvy ones are still doing it before they switch on, because they saw you do it.

Haha nah. I would do it in a low key way while I was talking about the phone. I don't think most thought I was trying to turn the phone on rather than just hitting the screen with my thumb for no apparent reason. Lol

I love the knock as well. I found myself trying to use it on my Moto X recently only to it showing me the time and it's active notifications.

Yeah I do it to my note 3, luckily it already works on my HTC one m8. They should make it standard on all Android phones!

Gave my GS3 to my daughter, now everytime she wants me to change something, first thing I do is Knock on it. Same goes for my wife's GS4...

I imagine they both laugh at you. It undermines your confidence when females laugh at you when you're trying to be clever.
