Are we gonna see 4.4.4 or do you think LG will just go straight to 5.0? My guess is straight to L

Re: Update to 4.4.4 or Android L

I wouldn't worry too much about 3 or 4... Both were minor updates. 3 was really more geared to the nexus and moto lines and 4 was a security update that might have been addressed by LG in the 4.4.2 they put on in the first place.

LG has been updating things (without an android bump) since release , so it really isn't necessary. I would take any OTA updates though. We are still close to the launch, and there are probably issues that LG is working on... Graphic improvements, stability fixes, etc, things that pop up with a new phone running new software.

My T-Mobile unit is still on 'c'... Guessing there will be an update coming, on 4.4.2, soon.

Even if they released an update to 4.4.3 or 4.4.4 I probably won't even bother updating. Like Leo said, it's so minor it's not worth it.

Android 4.4.4 doesn't feature any massive improvements so don't worry about it.

You'll go straight to Android L, which will be Android 5.0(likely)

I doubt they'd skip 4.4.4
L is still a few months out at least for the G3, and since 4.4.4 adds some security updates (unless LG back ported them to 4.4.3), there's no reason to skip it.

As a previous Nexus owner, there is absolutely nothing about the updates past 4.4.2 that you'd notice as a user —besides a different number shown in your About Phone.

If there are any updates between now and L, they'll probably be LG specific build updates.

4.4.3 and 4.4.4 are incremental updates. I highly doubt we'll see those updates. Android L is probably more than likely.

Seeing as L is still months out (my guess would be early 2015), I see no reason why they would skip both. Maybe one or the other, but there are security updates that would still be necessary. Regardless of whether the user notices or not.
