    Hi all,
Is there a way to to use my G3 to pay for my bus fares using NFC?

I do not want to use my oyster card though, I want to use my contactless debit card..

Google seems to have a lot of dated posts saying it's not possible, but surely it is now?

Would it be as simple as setting up a debit card with NFC and touching an oyster reader?

    Thanks in advance

    Jack

I remember reading a notice about this months ago when on a bus. Can't remember the details, but I think it is possible. Try the bus operator's website.

    Hi belodion,
I've been using my contactless card to pay for the bus fare for a while now, but it's often a pain as I have to take it out of my wallet to scan it, whereas my oyster would work through the wallet...

    Perhaps you've read this:

In a very crowded bus you might have to be extra careful not to fumble and drop your phone.😕
