Default How can I get iPhone style notifications?

I'm looking for advise on an app or something to give iPhone style notifications on the lock screen.

That's one thing I miss from my iPhone days, is that pretty much every app would give a notification on the lock screen. Things like SMS, emails, BBM, missed calls, facebook replies....etc...

Anyone know some good apps for that?

    Thanks.

I don't have direct experience, but NiLS Lockscreen Notifications looks decent. Lock Screen Notifications doesn't get as high marks, but perhaps still worth trying.

I think nils is a great app. I've been using it for a long time and it does it's job. In addition, I also use an app called heads up notification. The notifications appear in a similar way as the incoming call appears when you are using your phone. In other words, it's like a floating banner. Both are free, so just might as well give it a try.

There's Nils, and there's Echo Lockscreen as well. I've been using it for a couple of weeks. Works pretty good.

I had the same question about a month back, came from an iPhone and missed lock screen notifications and the notification badges (little red numbered icons on messages, email, etc).

Solved the missing badges by installing Nova launcher prime from the app store and enabled 'unread counts'. Also much prefer the look of Nova to stock LG and it's very customisable.

However, I got used to not having the lock screen notifications, but as it'll be coming with Android L we shouldn't have to wait long.

Thanks guys for the suggestions. I think I'll give NiLS Lockscreen Notifications a try. Seems pretty good.

It will be interesting to see how Android L does this.
