LG G3 Text message question

I've had this background color on my text messages and I can't change it and I don't think it's always been a beige color. Any idea of how to get it off? Thanks.

Assuming you're using the native texting application, that's the default color. As far as I know, you can't change it to anything else. If you want some more customizability in your texts, I suggest you try out some messaging apps in the Play Store!

I recommend Handcent others may not. You can pretty much change everything and give individual ringtone for texts.

Right but as far as I know T-Mobile doesn't approve the 3rd party apps. Especially for mms. It never sends for me or receives.

It should work. I switched to Hangouts as soon as I got the phone. You just have to make the new text message app the default

I'll try it and let you know. I tried chompsms a couple days ago and it didn't work.

Only way you can change that is through g3 tweaks app with exposed on I believe.

I use Chomp with T-Mobile and I liked it enough to buy it. It has an option box for you to click in the settings if you're with T-Mobile. I made this gorilla theme on it.

Try 8s.ms for a stockish MMS/text message app I use it on hundreds of phones I flash not sure if that's what your looking for but it works on petty much every phone I've ever installed it on

Hangouts is the best if you ask me. No lag or anything. Just wish there was a way for more customization

Gotta say that after using chomp, handcent, hello, and a handful of other apps... I settled with textra as well. The material design ui is implemented really well throughout the app and makes everything that much more enjoyable. I loved hangouts but low-res contact photos irritated me so I switched to textra
