I just recently purchased a new lg g3 and im loving it. I did however have one problem when i was trying to send messages. Apparently (this is what the tmobile guy said at least) due to the placement of the sd card, an old card (mine is 1yr 3mo old) will interfere with the signal of the sim card. When i took the sd card out, everything worked fine. Is this a coincidence? Is my sd card really that old and will buying a new one make a difference?

Hmm, I've never heard that before. An old SD card could be corrupt, and that could impact the performance of the phone in unpredictable ways, so maybe that's what he meant.

Unless your SD card has a metal shell, I can't imagine an old one blocking the signal more than a new one. But see if you can borrow an SD card from someone else, and see how your phone reacts to it.
