Can I set a SMS notification tone for one contact only?

On the LG G3 (Verizon) can one contact have its own notification sound in Messaging+ (for SMS), or is there only one notification sound for all SMS messages? I have a system monitoring contact that needs a very loud alert, but I have a family member who texts me constantly, and I want a quiet sound for them. Can this be done in the default Messaging+ app, and if not, is there an alternative?

I use EvolveSMS and this is an option. Also, I used to use Textra (inferior) and this also has that feature.

Yes. Just go to the name in contacts and click edit. Scroll down and you see where you can change their ring tone, notification, and color for the light

Interesting- I don't have that option on my G3. I see this was in 2014, still have your phone by chance?!
I can set new ringtones, no problem but not text sounds.

I see the exact same screen that jroo05 posted above. To get there:

1. Open Contacts
2. Click on the name of the contact
3. Click on the edit button
4. Then you should see the screen above.

That must be an ATT option, my Verizon G3 doesn't show that...I haven't made the switch to Lollipop yet either (if that matters).
