Why do I get the message Can't Open Zip while try to flash?

Can't Open Zip error while try to flash

While trying to flash am getting an error that says TWRP is unable to open a zip and it fails.
What am I doing wrong?

Tried TWRP and Flashify, both failed. Tried fixing permissions, no luck. Greatly appreciate any help

Maybe the zip is meant for a different recovery, like ClockworkMod, instead of TWRP?

What file are you trying to flash? Not all zips are intended to be flashable; some are just zips.

And flashable zips are standard Android features, and not recovery specific.

I tried nameless rom and pacmon rom on 851 t-mobile lg g3.

Will reflashing recovery (twrp) again cause issues?

I don't think it will. If I remember right I have reflashed a recovery before and its been fine.

Have you tried redownloading the files? It's possible the downloads are corrupt.

Are you putting the zips on an external SD card or internal? Whichever it is, try moving it the the other, and see if that makes a difference.
