Rooted G3 (LG D855) connecting to T-Mobile 4G/LTE

I've gone through some threads on how to connect international models of smartphones to the T-mobile 4G network, and I've tried lots of different methods (secret menu, APN, etc) but nothing worked. I was wondering if rooting my phone would do the trick or at least present more solutions? Is there anything anyone would recommend? Thanks!

Rooting has nothing to do with the "phone" part of the phone. If you have a phone that doesn't have the frequencies that T-mobile uses for 4G, there's nothing you can do to change that. It's missing the hardware you need. (You could replace the mnotherboard with a TMobile motherboard, but that's a bit extreme.)

The 855 uses 700, 800, 900, 1800, 2100, 2300 and 2600 MHz bands for LTE, T-Mobile uses 1700/2100 - so without the 1700 MHz radio capability, you won't get 4G. You'll have the same problem with 3G.

Thank you so much! I have wifi throughout most of my day so it's not that big of a deal. It's just annoying sometimes when you are not getting all that's being offered.
