Why did my group texting quit working on my LG-G3 with Verizon?

It had been working just fine, but now all I am getting instead of each message is a Download button. When I select it, it says "downloading" but nothing happens and I cannot see the message. What could have made this quit working? Any suggestions on how to fix it? Thank you!

Someone is sending group texts as an MMS instead of individual texts, and you're set up wrong for MMS (probably the APN settings in your phone). Or they could be, and not actually sending out the MMS - is anyone else in the group having the same problem?
