Why can't I get my computer to recognize LG G3?

[AC Question]

can't get computer to recognize lg g3

when I connect my lg g3 to the computer via supplied usb cord, computer just thinks it's charging. I can't seem to load my pictures to the computer. Help?

Typically with Lollipop you touch the USB Connected As on your upper bar and you choose MPT
