rooting on 5.0.1

is there a way to root the g3 on 5.0.1 that's not manual? i checked xda and it's looks like stump root isn't being developed anymore. i tried purple drake and towelroot and they both say lollipop isn't supported.

thanks for the reply but it doesn't work. when i get to the ports.bat part, it says the command/phone isn't recognised.

Most likely the drivers are not installed correctly on your computer causing the computer not not properly recognize the phone. Or you need different drivers. I know the Verizon variant required different drivers. Which one do you have?

Also, make sure you install BusyBox. Some people have had success with this method by installing BusyBox from the Play store.
