Keyboard notification

Hello, I've had a Google about this and I'm sure it's been asked a few times before but...

On the LG G3 if you don't use the LG keyboard you get the keyboard notification giving you the option to switch between keyboards. To get rid of this you need to have only one keyboard ticked in settings, however there is no way to disable the LG keyboard that I can find, meaning the notification is always present.

Is there any way around this? I have tried unticking notifications in all keyboard/language related apps but no joy. As I can't find a solution anywhere I'm guessing the answer is root or get used to it.

Are you talking about the keyboard on the notification bar that only comes up when you are typing something?

Yep. Coming from a Nexus device I'm used to being able to have only the single keyboard I want to use selected, so no notification when typing.
