My LG3 has both GALLERY and PHOTOS but not all pictures are on both. How can I get them both on?

My LG3 has both GALLERY and PHOTOS but not all pictures are on both.

1. For some reason there are pictures on PHOTOS but not on GALLERY. Any idea why and how I can move them over to GALLERY?

2. I have several pictures on PHOTOS that refuse to be deleted. I "select" them, push the trash can, then press "delete everywhere"....and nothing happens.

To get pictures from the Google Photos app to your gallery, you have to download them. The Photo app is a storage for pictures that are saved on cloud storage. Gallery is for pictures that are on your device. Try going to the website http://photos.google.com and deleting them there. Let us know if that works.
