On my LG G3 when I'm in a call I can't click most things. Why?

On my lg g3 when im in a call i cant click most things.

when im in a call on my lg g3 i cant click most things.for example i can click the kik app but i cant click any conversations and when I click the chrome app and try to Google something my keyboard doesn't appear.my sister has the same phone but hers works perfectly fine.

What carrier are you on?

I've seen touchscreen input issues where it has too many registered touches on the screen at once and you lose input until you clear them. Clearing them is as simple as swiping three of your fingers completely across the screen. I don't know if this is what's happening with your phone or not, though.

the phone is from at&t but the carrier is metro pcs and my phone is rooted if that helps

If you can touch some things then my theory is kind of out the window. That is a very strange issue.
