HELP PLEASE! LG G3 formatted itself

Since I got this phone for my GF this phone has problems one after other. First it couldn't handle one wallpapers app, forcing phone to restart. then once in a while it used to restart for no reason. after she lost all here data from SD card. And now finally her phone just formatted itself wiping out everything from the phone (pictures, apps, contacts etc). If she was close I would try handle this myself, but she isn't.

So, is there any possible way to recover anything she have lost from phone. She most likely didnt have anything backing up to G+ (or whatever Android uses - I am WP user and got no knowledge about Android phones)

And, as with any computer, any file you don't have backed up is a file you don't need (under the assumption that if the file important enough to worry about losing, it's important enough to spend the time to back it up), so back up to a desktop or laptop AND to a cloud account.
