Sprint LG G3 phone froze during a Android app update. How can I fix this?

Sprint LG G3 phone froze during a Android app update.

I have a Sprint LG G3 phone that froze during the Android App update that it prompted me to do.
It seemed that things were going great , and then all of a sudden it was just doing nothing...
Now 1 1/2 hours later the phone is still doing nothing. The Screen is on and has a LG Lifes Good logo on it , along with a pink round ball logo thing... Every once in awhile the screen will flash and get brighter. Other then that it is doing nothing and I can't get it to do anything...

Was the update downloading when this happened, or installing?
