Does that require root? I'm guessing you'd need root and there are probably several options once you have it.

Does anyone here use a different resolution fo ether G3? I do, but for individual apps.

NOMone Resolution Changer in the Play Store will do this for you.

I have, in the past, run at 1080p on the G3 for a small performance gain in games mostly. You may notice a fuzziness when doing this, but that's because it will no longer be 1:1 pixel ratio.

Make sure you adjust the DPI (in the app) to reflect the resolution you change to. I normally run 370-420 with 1080p. You can play with it.

You have to be rooted to do this.

You should always have a TWRP full nandroid backup ready to fall back to in case you cannot boot (if something goes wrong).

Have fun playing around with it!

Download "terminal emulator" from the play store. Open the app, type "su" then wait for it to verify root access (you must be rooted to do this), then type "wm size 1920x1080" and it will change to 1080p, then after that he sure to change dpi by typing wm density (440).
