No sound from earpiece during calls

Hi! My LG G3 has been acting up lately. I can't hear a thing through the earpiece when I'm making and receiving calls. Call quality is okay because I can hear clearly if I put it on speakerphone. I don't know if fhis is a software issue or hardware. I'm afraid that when my phone is heating, the earpiece is getting damaged or something.

Anybody had experience like this?

Welcome back! The two main possibilities are (1) the earpiece speaker grille is blocked or clogged--make sure it's clean; or (2) the earpiece speaker has failed, in which case you'd need to get it repaired. Is the phone still under warranty?
