Unlocked G3 vs. T-Mobile G3?

"Unlocked" G3 vs. T-Mobile G3

My carrier is T-Mobile. Best Buy is selling a new LG G3 which is described as "unlocked." This means it will work on my carrier. Good.

But will the "unlocked" phone work as well as the T-Mobile version of the G3?

What are the pros/cons of "unlocked" phone vs. the T-Mo phone?

Welcome to Android Central! Although it is most likely compatible, check the specs of the unlocked G3 carefully to make sure it's compatible with T-Mobile's network bands.

Phones that you don't get directly from T-Mobile usually can't take advantage of their Wi-fi Calling feature, if that's important to you.
