Excited for my son's first cell phone.

We have gotten to the point where we need to contact my son or be contact us when necessary. I purchased a like new LG G3 on Swappa. I paid about $20 more than I should but wanted it to be here in time.
My wife has the same phone and she loves and and the charging of the battery is extremely quick for a non QC 2.0 phone.
I will give him a small portable charger to keep in his school bag.
The hard decision is to wait for his Birthday or give earlier when he is on winter break.

He has been begging for an iPhone but not for my family.. Android mobile devices for us.

Give it to him early and don't forget a case or two. I have an Incipio and Poetic for daily use and just got a Ballistic Tough Jacket last week for outdoor activities. The tough jacket should hold up to a kid.
