Why does my LG G3 take bad quality pictures?

I switched back to Android because I love them...but my camera on my LG G3 is terrible. I've tried adjusting the settings with all of the options but my pictures are still awful. Bad colour, blurry etc. I like the phone otherwise but I feel that my pictures are comparable to the first ever picture taking flip phone. Three friends that work in mobile stores say it's one of their best sellers and disagree with me, however my pictures say otherwise. Any tips on how to rectify this or is my phone just a piece of ****?

Assuming that it is a genuine G3, something must be wrong: the G3, a phone that I use myself, takes high quality photos, and performs to a standard that you would expect from a flagship device.
If genuine, contact LG customer support for advice.
